We specialise in Hydraulic and Pneumatic Design, Truck installation comprising of pump & PTO installation and telescopic hoist installation, customised reproduction of Hydraulic, Brake and Power steering lines, System Diagnostics and fault finding and custom design of Hydraulic Circuits.

We have an established network of hydraulic suppliers and distributors and are able to offer optimal sales and service ensuring minimal levels of downtime for our customers.

History

Scotts Hydraulic Services was established in Kempsey in 1978 by Percy Scott who emigrated to Australia from India with his family in 1967. Percy, a mobile Diesel Mechanic employed by Clark Equipment in Hornsby from 1967 - 1971 would frequently travel to the Kempsey area to repair Machinery at the Sand Mining Mineral Deposits at Crescent Head and the Sawmills on Armidale Road.

During this time Percy grew fond of the Macleay and the new friendships he had made over the years decided to relocate his family from Sydney to Kempsey. This is where he began his new venture in Tractor, hydraulic and machinery repair’s operating out of the garage under his home.

In 1978 Percy saw an opportunity to grow his business further where he purchased a piece of land and relocated to Kempsey’s industrial estate. He worked alongside his sons within the business until his retirement in 1995 at 65 Years of age.

Scotts Hydraulic Services is now owned, managed and operated by his son Gordon and grandson Ben. The business continues to grow and offer that same traditional good old fashioned service.
